Privacy Policy
This policy explains how we handle information you share with Restiqo.

What we collect
When you request a demo or send a message we collect your name, business name, phone number, email address, city, business type and outlet count, plus anything you write in the message field. When you use the Restiqo application we process the operational data you enter, such as menu, order, invoice and staff records.
Why we collect it
Contact details are used to respond to your enquiry, arrange a demo and provide support. Operational data is processed only to provide the service to your restaurant.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. Data is shared only with infrastructure providers required to run the service, and only to the extent needed to operate it.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to follow up and to meet our record-keeping obligations. Account data is retained for the life of the account and deleted on request after closure, subject to legal requirements.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you have given us, and you can opt out of follow-up contact at any time. Use the contact form on this site to make a request.
Ordering and customer information
When a diner orders through a QR menu or at the counter, the restaurant may collect a name and phone number to identify the order and issue the bill. That information belongs to the restaurant using Restiqo; Restiqo processes it on the restaurant's instructions.
WhatsApp invoice delivery
A bill is sent on WhatsApp only when the customer has ticked the optional consent box for that specific restaurant. This consent is transactional: it covers order updates and the invoice only, and is never used for marketing or promotional messages. Consent given to one restaurant never allows another restaurant to message the same number.
Sharing with Meta / WhatsApp
To deliver an invoice on WhatsApp we pass the recipient's phone number and the template values (restaurant name, order number and amount, or a secure invoice link) to Meta Platforms through the WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta processes this as part of delivering the message under its own terms.
Email delivery
Website enquiries and confirmation emails are delivered through a third-party email provider, which processes the name, email address and message content needed to send them.
Analytics
Product analytics load only after you allow them. We send page paths and non-identifying interaction events. We never send customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, invoice numbers, order details, restaurant credentials or WhatsApp identifiers to analytics.
Withdrawing WhatsApp consent
A customer can reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any WhatsApp message from a restaurant. That withdraws consent for that restaurant immediately and suppresses further messages until fresh consent is given. [PLACEHOLDER — confirm any additional withdrawal channels with the business owner.]
Data retention

Restaurant responsibilities
Restaurants using Restiqo are responsible for collecting consent honestly at the counter, for the accuracy of the numbers they enter, for keeping their own WhatsApp Business account in good standing with Meta, and for responding to their customers' privacy requests.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you gave us through this website. Requests about data held inside a restaurant's account should go to that restaurant, which controls it. Use the contact form to raise a request. Cookies
